Creating a Pool ball in Illustrator - page 3

This next part is more trial and error, and depending on where you want the white spot and the eight to appear you may do it in a slightly different way.

I have selected the grouped white circle and the number eight and squashed the width of the circle slightly by dragging the center points on the side of the selection.

Then I have placed them over the eight ball and rotated them to the left, and finally scaled them down and moved them into position.

This is the final version showing the finished image.
