If you want the downloaded Illustrator
set to appear every time you start the program,
you need to put the chosen .ai file in the
default brushes folder on you hard drive.
Should be something like this for illustrator
8 on a PC.
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Illustrator 8.0\Brush
Libraries
and for Illustrator CS
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Illustrator CS\Presets\Brushes
Once you have used a brush, the brush will
then appear in the default brushes panel,
when you save the Illustrator document the
brushes used will also be save within the
document, saving you having to reload a
set if you need to alter or amend your illustrator
artwork. |
