Saving Adobe Illustrator brushes

Once you have created your artwork, select all the elements you want to use, using the 'selection tool' this will define your chosen illustrator brush. Then on the top right of the brushes menu, click and select 'new brush' as seen in the screenshot below.

For this tutorial I have used one of the ladybirds featured on the site, and I'm using it as a scatter brush. There are also the scatter brush settings to alter (see separate tutorial).

Now the brush should be added, and will appear in the main brush menu.
